The Graduate School is responsible for post-graduate education, including the disciplinary construction, recruitment, cultivation, degree granting and ideological and political education. It has 5 disciplines in Category 1, including Philosophy, Theoretical Economics, Law, Journalism and Communications and Public Management; 31 disciplines in Category 2; and 4 professional master’s degree awarding units. Since 2012 when Academic Degree Committee of the State Council authorized “senior legal talent program for Northwest regional stability and development and national security”, the school has recruited 52 doctoral students.
