The School of Public Security has 1500 students and an excellent team of faculty members, among whom professors and associate professors account for 56% and 14 faculties hold doctoral degrees. Thisschool has six teaching and research offices: Investigation Science, Public Security, Criminal Science and Technology, Economic Crime Investigation, Criminal Psychology and Forensic Medicine; two research institutions: Modern Criminal Investigation and Anti-Terrorism; and the Physical Evidence Teaching and Research Center. Investigation was selected as the construction project of discipline in Category 1 and Criminal Science and Technology as the cultivation project of discipline in Category 1 in 2017. Physical Evidence Teaching and Research Center was awarded as the “national pilot teaching model” in 2008. Virtual Simulation Center for Criminal Investigation has been awarded as the provincial-level virtual simulation center.
