The School of Journalism and Communications has 1300 students and 42 faculty members, including 22 professors and associate professors, among whom 18 faculties hold doctoral degrees. Thisschool offers six undergraduate programs: Journalism, Television Broadcasting Science, Editing and Publishing, Radio and TV Directing, Theatre and Film Literature and Web and New Media; and a postgraduate program:Master of Journalism and Communications, (which is the discipline in Category 1) . Among them, Journalism is awarded as a national featured major. Thisschool has jointly built a “One Belt and One Road Cross-Cultural Communications Center’ with China-Germany DCKD Arts Exchange Associations, through which more than 20 faculties and students have been to Germany for further study or internship. Many world-renowned scholars from UK and US, in turn, have been invited to the school for academic exchange. These international interactions have made it possible for students to expand their outlooks.
