The School of Foreign Languages has 600 students and 94 faculty members, including 26 professors and associate professors, among whom faculties holding doctoral degrees account for 16%. The undergraduate programs offered by this schoolincludes Legal English, Business English, etc. and a MTI program. Legal English is awarded as the featured major in Shaanxi province. The school, meanwhile, is in charge of the all-campus undergraduates’ and postgraduates’ English education. Great attention is paid to the Students’ academic and practical activities, with the school holding a China-US cultural exchange month and foreign languages and cultures festival annually.
