The School of Philosophy and Social Development has about 500 students and 40 faculties, including 15 professors and associate professors, among whom 23 holddoctoral degrees. Thisschool offers three undergraduate programs: Philosophy, Sociology and Social Work; and a variety of courses of general education all on campus. Awarded as the best faculty for graduate employability, it has one key discipline, one advantageous discipline and one featured discipline in Shaanxi Province. Professor Zhao Fujie is the honorary president of Shaanxi Social Science Association.
