On December 1st, the Belt and Road Demonstration Zone for International Commercial Legal Service (BRDZ-ICLS) launched opening and signing ceremony at Xi'an International Trade & Logistic Park. Professor Wang Jian, Vice President of our university, and Professor Wang Han, President of the Silk Road Regional Cooperation and Development Law Research Institute, attended the event. The event was jointly held by the Ministry of Justice and the People's Government of Shaanxi Province.
On the ceremony, on behalf of the Institute, Professor Wang Han signed the strategic cooperation memorandum with Xi'an International Trade & Logistic Park. It marked the Institute has officially joined in BRDZ-ICLS, becoming the first batch of its signed co-building partners.
The BDRZ-ICLS is located at Xi’an International Trade & Logistic Park. It is the largest inland port and the only one having the international and domestic double codes. The China-Europe Railway Express Chang’an Line can reach 44 countries and regions along the Silk Road, being the central hub linking China with the countries and regions along the Belt and Road. Joining in the BRDZ-ICLS will enable our university to build the foreign-related law and better serve the Belt and Road Initiative. It also highlights our outstanding achievements and contributions made in law guarantee for Belt and Road Initiative.
